Technical Information

• Alchemy’s Drug Image File is available through a SOAP-compliant web service; this stand-alone server application is operating system agnostic.
• Use Alchemy’s API to access images via an HTTP “getimage” request, by either passing in an imageID/image type OR by submitting a formatted NDC code.
• Images are additionally available as an export to JPG format directly from the API.
• Web-based updates run via an incremental update service and require 4 GB of free disk space. These fully automated updates require no IT resources or personnel from your organization, and may be scheduled as often as desired to suit your needs.
